What Does CLOAK Fit?

95% of large safes and around 50% of compact safes on the market are designed with electronic keypads compatible with our cover.

Why the Keypad Matters

Some safes have a backup key access, but keys can get misplaced or lost—leaving you without access after keypad failure due to impact damage.

In the event of a fire or heat source near your safe, a melted keypad can clog the keyway, preventing you from using the key and also leaving you without access.

We are providing a protective solution for the proactive person to protect the weakest component of safes and vaults: the electronic keypad.

How It Attaches

Base Mount

Easily attached by high-temperature 3M VHB double-sided adhesive, backed up with eight neodymium magnets. If the adhesive reaches its 300°F rated melting point, the magnets ensure the cover stays fixed in place.

Outer Cover

Features eight integrated neodymium magnets and installs with precision-guided slots that align seamlessly with the base. This engages all 16 magnets for a powerful, dependable hold. The cover can be pulled off easily for entry to the safe or if you need to change batteries on your keypad.

What Kind of Lock Does Your Safe Have?

CLOAK is designed primarily for electronic push-button keypads—the most common lock type on modern safes. That said, mechanical dials and other lock faces are still exposed to fire, water, and impact, so a cover can still help keep your lock protected and clean.

Measure Your Keypad

CLOAK is a round cover. Measure the longest dimension of your keypad unit (including the housing, not just the buttons). The keypad needs to fit within CLOAK’s interior diameter:

straighten No tape measure? A US dollar bill is just over 6″ long. If a bill covers your keypad with a little room to spare, CLOAK will fit.

Check for Flat Mounting Surface

The base mount needs at least 1″ of flat, smooth surface around all sides of the keypad. This is where the 3M VHB adhesive and magnets grip your safe door.
